Muppet the Miniature Horse

Interesting Fact: The Miniature Horse is known as a "height breed" and is registered up to 38" tall.

Muppet, along with his buddy, Pico, came to the Ranch when the owner died and the wife could not care for the horses.

To prepare Muppet to be used in animal assisted therapy, we spent 6 months walking him and getting him used to travelling in our trailer.

Their small size and gentle disposition makes Miniature Horses very attractive to people who might be afraid of a full-size horse.

Seniors are excited to see Muppet and he expertly sidesteps around wheelchairs and places his head in available laps for scratching and petting.
